Volunteer

Many of our programs need leaders, organizers, and behind-the-scenes volunteers in order to be successful. We count on families like yours to help meet various needs throughout the school year.

​

Volunteers do not need to be PTA members. Likewise, PTA members do not automatically become signed up to volunteer!

​

Volunteers are needed for the following areas:

​

  • Adopt a Classroom: Assist your respective teacher throughout the year

  • Art Docent: Lead a simple monthly art project in the classroom

  • Budget Committee: Help monitor yearly budget & create next year's budget

  • 5th grade celebration: Help plan the end of the year celebration for our outgoing 5th graders

  • Fundraising: Help PTA find new and creative ways to raise funds for our PTA

  • Interpreter/Translating: Know a language other than English? Help us translate PTA materials!

  • Meredith Hills Cares: Community Collaboration to help the Meredith Hill scholar families

  • Read and Lead Bookstore: Sort and set up monthly "book store"

  • Social Media: Assist in posting on various Meredith Hill PTA social media accounts

  • Spirit Wear: Track orders & distribute Meredith Hill branded clothing and accessories

  • Staff Appreciation: Help prepare meals & treats for staff monthly & on conference days

  • Talent Show: Help organize the student talent show

  • Kindness Fundraiser (Spring Fundraiser): Volunteer in our annual school-wide fundraiser

  • Fall Culture Festival (Celebration of Culture & Diversity and Fall Fundraiser)

  • Yearbook: Be a part of a team to collect photos for our annual yearbook

  • Watch D.O.G.S.: Dads, Grandfathers/pas, Uncles, & any adult figure who provides a positive influence
