Frequently Asked Questions

When and where are meetings held?

Anyone can join PTA meetings. Meetings are held via Zoom on the first Tuesday of each month at 8:00 pm. See the events calendar on the home page for a direct link to PTA meetings.

How can I become part of the organization?

It's easy to become a member! Visit our membership page to learn why membership is important to our organization. Membership dues go toward the Washington State and National PTA organizations, which hold us accountable and provide a safety net for our local PTA. Being a member affords you the right to vote on any PTA matters throughout the year and be counted in the PTA's child advocacy efforts throughout the nation.  Join our pod here!

What does the PTA do?

The PTA is pleased to have built many programs over the years to support all our scholars, teachers, staff, and our school community. Learn more about our programs here:

Can I volunteer without becoming a member?

YES! Everyone benefits from people willing to volunteer! Learn more about volunteer opportunities here:

I support the PTA, but I don't have time to come to a meeting or volunteer

Becoming a member is in and of itself a donation to our organization. Whether you want to become a member of the board, help organize events and make decisions about our budget, or support us from the sidelines, becoming a paid member assists the PTA in maintaining our programs and keeping our goals.
